Characteristic of Software Spiral model

The basic characteristic of a Spiral model is risk management at regular stages in the development cycle.

The Spiral Model is visualized as a process passing through some number of iterations, with the four quadrant diagram representative of the following activities:
a. Formulating plans to identify software targets, selected to implement the program, clarify the project development restrictions.
b. Risk analysis: a strict analysis of the selected programs and identifying the risks and eliminating them.
c. The next step is the core part i.e. implementation of the project and its verification.
