Property taxes for future subdivision?

I'm wondering if anyone is framilar with property tax regulations in massachusetts. I'm interested in having a 50 acre parcel surveyed for possible subdivision.

I'd like to have it surveyed into several building lots and im wondering if this will change my property tax burdeon. I'm currently being taxed on the entire lot (a much more favorable rate than 15 individual lots)
