Mortgage help for peple who make their payments on time?

We have ALWAYS made our full payment on time if not early on our home. However I have recently lost my job and we are not sure how much longer we will be able to keep up with it. We have had our house on the market for about 5 months with only ONE showing. It is priced $15k less than we paid for it 4 years ago and we have put some nice improvements into it. Are their any programs out there for people like us? We do want to move out of town where we can find better work and would like to but a home within the next 2 years so we don't want anything that will kill our credit....HELP!
