Google and new search engines

There are many new search engines being introduced in the market. However, can these new SEs compete with Google? I think Google has set such a high benchmark that yahoo and Bing cannot reach that level. If these popular search engines cannot match up the standards of Google, then other newly launched search engines stand no chance. If they try to compete with the Big G, then they will only face failure. If they understand this sooner, it will be better for them. Well, this is my opinion. I would like to know your thoughts as well. Thank you.
